Architecturally
inspired by a 16th-century palace, the hotel preserves the legacy of Dona
Gracia, a Jewish leader who dedicated her fortune to rescuing Jews and
establishing a Jewish presence in Tiberias. The property provides an authentic
glimpse into the Renaissance period and features 66 comfortable,
air-conditioned guest rooms. Approximately half of the rooms have recently
undergone renovations totaling over 1 million shekels, as part of an ongoing
refurbishment of the hotel. Some rooms overlook the Sea of Galilee, others face
the Old City, and a select number offer views into the museum itself,
reminiscent of boutique hotels in Europe and major world capitals. Throughout
the property, guests can explore an exclusive collection of exhibits that trace
key moments in Dona Gracia’s life across Lisbon, Venice, Istanbul, and beyond.
The hotel operates as a living museum, with its centerpiece attraction being an immersive house tour that includes a Renaissance-era costume room featuring more than one hundred beautifully crafted outfits available for both adults and children. Guests can dress up and capture unique, memorable moments as part of an unforgettable experience. The theatrical activities are open not only to hotel guests but also to the
general public by advance reservation and for a
fee.

welcoming thousands of guests each year for
decades, we chose to invest in the renovation of 30 guest rooms, with a full
property upgrade to follow. Despite these renovations, we have maintained our
competitive pricing in order to encourage tourism to Tiberias and make quality
hospitality accessible to a broad audience at a special value. The hotel’s
central location in the heart of Tiberias, is in close proximity to the Sea of Galilee, and has convenient access to public transportation, making it a preferred choice for group stays, conferences,
