Tel Aviv-Yafo marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Tel Aviv-Yafo, December 3 - Joining landmarks around the world, Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality illuminated the facade of the municipal building in purple this evening (December 3) to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The annual day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also targets increased awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
This year's theme is "Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 world”.
